Free Sets of Drawings and Specifications for Successful Bidders

The Architect or Engineer will state in the bidding documents the number of sets of drawings and specifications which will be furnished free to the successful bidder.

The number of sets so stated are in addition to the number required for filing in compliance with any applicable building code or ordinance or regulation.

The Architect or Engineer should advise the Owner of the above requirements and may make such arrangements for reimbursement as are appropriate. Preferably, this should be included in the agreement with the Owner. All additional copies of drawings will be provided at the Contractor's expense. The Architect or Engineer will make all arrangements for their reproduction, and the bidding documents will indicate the name and address of the printing establishment and the cost per sheet. The Contractor shall include the cost of such additional sets in his bid. Additional sets of specifications may be obtained from the Architect or Engineer at a cost to be stated in the bidding document.
